🥸 Museum Interest 🖼️
One very cool thing from this week is I got an email from a curator at a popular museum asking questions about my research in relation to an upcoming exhibit! Being vague here intentionally, as I don’t want to spoil anything by accident.
It has highlighted the importance of actually getting my stuff out there - publishing!! In lieu of any official publications to provide her with, I sent over my Hidden Worlds essay draft, an article I wrote for Planet Bee, and the paper I presented for SHS this Summer.
Neil did point out I should probably be cautious about sharing my work too freely, as people can take advantage. Maybe I am niaeve and it’s true that I probably would be upset if my work was used without credit, but I would like to think of myself as an open, sharing researcher. Plus, I genuinely do just get excited about white canes and want people to know about their history!
